Mission Statement
RIT Student Auxiliary Services departments are committed to sustainable operating procedures through the responsible management of resources within a framework of regulatory compliance and sound fiscal stewardship.
Value Statement
We will think globally and act locally and regionally to:
- Raise environmental awareness, educate, and influence our end users, especially our students, to practice sustainable methods.
- Work with our suppliers to minimize our environmental impact and conserve natural resources, particularly through energy and water conservation.
- Minimize waste streams by recycling and reusing materials.
- Make environmental considerations an important aspect of our decision making.
RIT Student Auxiliary Services acknowledges that in many ways our business activities impact our natural resources and we are committed to minimizing this impact through resource conservation and best practices.
