Explanation of Fees

Health Fee

The Health Fee is charged to all full time matriculated day undergraduate students on a per quarter basis. This charge allows students to receive basic health services at no cost. It does not cover special laboratory tests, x-rays, prescriptions or referrals to outside specialists and/or other health care providers.

CIAS Facilities Fee

The CIAS Facilities Fee is assessed to all SPAS, SPM, and SoFA students. The proceeds are used to support the purchase/maintenance of equipment and ongoing maintenance expenses of the facility.

Student Activity Fee

The Student Activity Fee is a mandatory fee charged to all matriculated day undergraduates and full time graduate students. This funds events, programs and services that directly improve the quality of RIT's campus life.

Wellness Fee Credit

The Wellness Fee Credit reflects the allowable credit for the wellness fee requirement based on a student’s matriculation status, course registration and program requirement.
