Workload Distribution System

The Workload Distribution system is a tool used by RIT’s eight colleges and the office of Institutional Research and Policy Studies to collect and maintain faculty and college staff workload distribution data. The system captures the distribution of individuals’ work activities across specific categories, such as instructional credit, funded research, and scholarly activity. Colleges review and update workload information on a quarterly basis. The information is used for internal reporting, such as determining student-faculty ratios, and for external reporting requirements, such as federal government reports and annual surveys.
