Marriage
Applies To: All Regular Employees
An employee who is to be married is entitled to one day's leave with pay. The day may be chosen by the employee but must be at a time consistent with the working schedule of his/her department. Pay for that day will be based on employee's normal schedule for the day of leave.
Procedure
Employee
- submits a request to the designated area representative
Supervisor
- Approves/modifies request
- Non-exempt employees mark appropriate time on time report as "E" (excused with pay) with a notation "marriage"
