Student: I am expecting a package that should have come a few days ago. What could have happened?
PO: It is important to know when it was mailed, how is it being shipped, and what address was used. Be sure to use your proper address.
Student: Will I still get my mail if my name changes?
PO: Come in and fill out a 'Here Card' with your name on it. There is only one student per mailbox. If the mail is addressed to someone other than the name on the mailbox, it will be returned to sender.
Student: If my package is shipped by UPS will you forward it to my address?
PO: No we can't forward mail that is shipped by another carrier such as UPS, Airbourne, FedEx, Rapid Service, or DHL. Only USPS (United States Postal Service) will be forwarded and all others will be returned to sender.
Student: My mom wants to send me cash for food, what is the best way to send it?
PO: The best way to receive money is for them to deposit cash in the student's bank account. The student could then go to the ATM on campus. A postal money order is also a good way to send money. I urge people to use Delivery Confirmation to track the arrival of a package or letter.
