Room With a View
"Room with a View" is a collaborative program offered only to Rochester-area merchants by RIT Housing Operations. Participating merchants creatively decorate residence hall rooms while at the same time showcasing unique merchandise available in their stores. This program is offered during the summer months, June through August, and is viewed by over 5,000 incoming freshman, transfer, and prospective students. "Room with a View" offers students innovative design and decorative ideas to make their residence hall rooms into a "home" with a little time, energy and creativity. Merchants participating this summer are RIT Campus Connections, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Linens-n-Things, Sears, JC Penny, and Wal-Mart.
