RIT
Center for Professional Development

Cluster: Career and Personal Development

Schedule of Course

As the university seeks to enhance its position as a world-class institution in an ever-changing educational, economic, and social environment, the growth and development of RIT's faculty and staff will be key to its ability to achieve this strategic objective. The university must continually invest in the development of its richest resources - the staff who provide services to support faculty and students as well as conduct the business of RIT.

Career Development at RIT is a partnership between the employee, managers and supervisors, Human Resources, and senior leadership. Managers are urged to encourage their staff to participate and take advantage of the program components. RIT, as a whole, benefits when employees are placed where their contributions are most effective. This program was developed in response to the strong advocacy of Staff Council. This exciting program was designed to provide all staff with the tools ensuring that RIT is better positioned for the future!
