Policy - Student Alumni Union
The Student Alumni Union Building - Institute departments (budget units) and college sponsored educational conferences (which are open to the entire RIT Community) will not be charged for the use of this facility unless special lighting, sound, screen, projectors and building supervision beyond regular hours are required. When such "extra" services are needed, the cost of the "extra" services will be charged back to the using department or conference.
If Ingle Auditorium is utilized, a cost will be assessed for a technician to be in the facility during the event for safety and security purposes.
For income producing activities and non-affiliated groups, rental charges will be made for rooms reserved in the building as well as charges for technical and/or support services. Arrangements can be made through the SAU Reservations Office in conjunction with RIT Catering Sales Office or the Government Affairs Special Events Office.
